In the beginning there was the word, and the word became Poetry.
Then God created sound, and sound became Music…
Then God created theater, and he saw that it was good.
And God said, “Let the poetry, music, and theater become one”.
And it was so.

About the experience
I used to be nervous and rather uncomfortable on stage with my music. And I was thinking why. I felt like the stage is definitely my place, but I got used to a theater performance when I’m up there, and here it felt like a movie vs. theater: each song felt like a take, then cut to banter (which I suck at), then go again. I missed the continuing action to live through. That’s how I decided to make a hybrid.
It was at my first experimental immersive Music&Poetry Experience when I felt like I was on stage and all I needed to do was simply BE.
This time I took it to the semi-theater level of intensity, and that resonated with me a great deal.
“Haunted singer-songwriter, that’s what my vocal teacher called me. I grew up in Russia, Moscow – a big city with a long history and “never sleep, never stop” vibrant soul.
I loved baroque music as much as I love folklore. I love the city as much as I loved nature. I loved to go to rock concerts as much as I loved to visit old monasteries far away outside the city. I keep discovering something new about myself every day, and music became my journal that captures every step of my journey in major and minor keys. “
